Idaho Technology's HR-1 high resolution melter was the first commercially available instrument designed specifically for high resolution melting. As a fast, simple, low cost alternative for gene scanning and mutation detection, the HR-1 paved the way for future Hi-Res Melting® instruments.

The HR-1 has been discontinued, however Idaho Technology is committed to Hi-Res Melting and offers the latest in melting technology.
