Scientist 3
Biochemistry R&D group is seeking a Scientist 3 (6+ years of relevant work experience) with a PhD in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related degree, to work on pathogen and mutation detection systems. Applicants should be motivated, knowledgeable and experienced in molecular testing of infectious and genetic diseases from biologic and environmental samples using fluorescence-based real time PCR and melting assays.
Responsibilities include seeking and writing grants and proposals to fund projects, directing and executing system development through Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP) production, and project/team management and coordination.
Salary: Based upon experience, negotiable.
